  • Donnelley Biological Sciences Learning Center / Greenhouse: The Learning Center encompasses 124,000 gross square feet (or 63,000 net assignable square feet) of space devoted to interactive teaching laboratories, classrooms, lecture halls, and specialized facilities for computer‐simulated biological experimentation, and a rooftop research greenhouse. The building is adjacent to the Jules Knapp Center and provides direct pedestrian access to the John Crerar Science Library and the Medical Center. In addition, the facility is connected above ground to KCBD and the adjoining GCIS. The Learning Center underscores the University’s commitment to Life Sciences education and provides the pre‐doctoral trainees in the MSTP with space and facilities to foster its informal training and formal course work. Seminars, lab meetings, simulation, and all courses and symposia are held in this facility. In addition, the Pritzker School of Medicine and the Office of Graduate Student Affairs are located in this building.
