Prior to her recent arrival at University of Chicago Medicine, Deb held senior posts with top architecture firms Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum, and Cannon Design. She previously worked with UCM from 2006 to 2012 on the development of several high-level projects, including the Center for Care and Discovery.

Her portfolio includes a broad range of health care experience, ranging from small, local community hospital renovations to large-scale international academic medical research facilities, such as Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Clarian Health / Indiana University, The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute at Ohio State University and the Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM).

She has a Master in Architecture degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Mount Holyoke College.
