HTS, Inc. Consulting Firm Supports Construction Efforts
Are you familiar with the expression, "It takes a village to raise a child?" In the case of the University of Chicago Medicine, it takes the support of many internal and external partners to bring the high-level construction and development projects on-line. HTS, Inc. Consulting has been instrumental in assisting UChicago Medicine in each project's activation and operationalization.
With offices in Northern and Southern California, HTS, Inc. has been committed to delivering project management excellence to the construction and healthcare industries since 2002.
"We are proud to partner with the University of Chicago Medicine on these very important construction initiatives, said Kelly Guzman, HTS's executive vice president and chief operation officer. "As a trusted partner, it is our goal to ensure that the organization seamlessly transitions into its new spaces and is fully prepared to focus on its main priority - the patients."
In addition to UChicago Medicine, HTS has extensive experience working with large academic medical centers including the University of California, San Francisco - Mission Bay, the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center - Clements University Hospital and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.
"They understand and appreciate the complicated logistics and communication required to bring these projects to life," said marco Capicchioni, vice president of Facilities, Planning, Construction and Design. "HTS, Inc's support has been vital to the planning and execution of our projects and has helped to develop standard work for these and other projects moving forward."
HTS, Inc. will aid UChicago Medicine with the activation of the following projects: Outpatient Infusion Center (DCAM 6), the Heart and Vascular Imaging Center (DCAM 5), Post-Partum Suite (Mitchell), the third and fourth floors of the Center for Care and Discovery (CCD), the CCD kitchen expansion, and the opening of Centers for Advanced Care at Orland Park and South Loop.
